Portrait of Frances Grace
Contemporary Still Life & Florals

Frances Grace

Frances Grace's art is rooted in a deep desire to observe, to notice what has been overlooked, to draw out the faint whispers of color that often go unremarked.

She is drawn to the political and the loud yet finds herself most at home behind a symbol: dead flowers, familiar rooms, quiet landscapes. Her work lives in that tension, desperate to observe yet unwilling to be observed.

Her paintings engage themes of femininity, religion, and domestic space, exploring how the ideas we inherit shape the world we actually inhabit. Frances holds a BFA from Southern Methodist University and lives in Conroe, Texas with her husband.
